Founded in Athens in 2020 by Lara Vartzioti, the architectural practice approaches the design methodology by bridging old and new, showing absolute respect to the identity of each project and its elements.

The studio’s work strives to combine the preservation of existing elements with modern practices and technologies, enhancing the character of each building. The restoration approach is based on the conservation philosophy, but not as a work of art.

Projects are treated holistically, establishing a logic of engagement in each stage. The existing structure of the building, its scale, its aesthetic substance, its construction details, the choice of materials and the configuration of the interior are studied in detail. 

The studio is interested in the development of sustainable design and construction.
