The award-winning studio “Mastrominas ARChitecture” was founded in 1984 by lead architect Ilias Mastrominas. He was born in Piraeus Greece in 1958. He studied architecture at the Polytechnic School of Milan and at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The studio’s work emphasizes in hospitality and residential design. Several years of experience in hospitality design with a major hotel complexes portfolio, have led to publications and distinctions in Greece and abroad.
The studio’s expertise and deep knowledge in hospitality projects, as well as the continuous seeking for aesthetic adequacy, are summarized in the latest awarded hotel projects “Casa Cook Kos” and “Caravia Beach Junior Suites & Restaurant”. Mastrominas Architecture was the big winner with 5 prizes in 100% Hotel Design Awards 2017 and has won the Prix Versailles 2018 (Continental winner Europe), the International Design Awards (IDA) 2017 & 2018, the Iconic Award 2019 and the German Design Award 2019 & 2020.
Today, Mastrominas ARChitecture, operates both in Athens and Kos, with a group of young architects aiming to transmute the firm’s significant experience into new ideas.
