Elia Zenghelis studied and taught at the Architectural Association School of Architecture (AA), London from 1956 to 1987. Co-founder of Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) with Rem Koolhaas in 1975 and partner until 1987, when he established Gigantes Zenghelis Architects in Athens. Recipient of the prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects Annie Spink Award for Excellence in Education in 2000. He has taught Advanced Studio at the School of Architecture, Yale University from 2013 to the present and Design Studio at the Master in Architecture & Urban Design Program, Department of Architecture, University of Patras from 2016 to the present.
